The dark days of winter are almost over as we spring forward on March 8, 2015 by moving our clocks one hour forward. But what happens to the data in our AdWords accounts, is there a chance of any discrepancies? Well, on the likely chance that your accounts are affected by Daylight Savings you will be happy to know that your account schedules and statistics will adjust automatically to save any confusion or problems.
If you do happen to have an account which works on UK times, however, then it’s worth taking a look to see which timezone in particular has been selected. As seen in the picture below there are two options when selecting a timezone for the United Kingdom while the (GMT +00:00) GMT (no daylight saving) option will not update automatically requiring you to manually change any ad schedules that you have in place. Just don’t be too eager to change them as Daylight Savings in the UK don’t occur until March 29 this year!
