Social media has the potential to truly rake in leads. And not just any leads, but quality leads. Here are tips on using Twitter, Facebook, Google+ etc, and LinkedIn. We will share with you 4 great ways to use social media to create more business leads.
1.) Ads in Facebook
Ok, so Facebook ads cost money. But the number of excellent ways they can be used to generate income is really amazing because you get to target the right audience. Use promoted posts in order to showcase your best content in the wall of people who fit the demographic of your target market. Though this will generate likes and more followers, you will have to be consistently post great content in your wall and build trust first before selling anything to anyone. A great suggestion is for you to share a link to the most interesting or the most useful video, post, etc as long as it isn’t on your product or services landing page. Another great tips is to use signup forms to understand your audience data which you can use to further tweak your content and pitches.
2.) Google+ Hangout Webinars
The power of Google Hangouts is that you get to show that your business is made up of actual people. You could join hangouts or you can host your own to help you attract the right audience. Just make sure that your hangout or webinar content will be something that people would actually want to learn about. You can only do this by providing value. Give tips, advice, information, etc which will help customers get excited. Of course you won’t give away everything since you will offer your services to those who are interested with your in-depth knowledge. While on air, keep on inserting your call to action. Then, upload the video to YouTube where you can also put links and info for more leads.
3.) Twitter Chats
A Twitter chat is a scheduled twitter discussion. The host Twitter account will usually set hashtags so the users can follow the conversation even thought the topics change. These are great lead pools since you could join chats that touch on your niche and there are many business related ones done weekly. You could even host your own Twitter chat.
What you have to remember is to not plug away with selling during chats. What you want is to be recognized as a good, knowledgeable participant. Just ask good questions and, more often, answer questions in order to show your knowledge. Establish your credibility first, then connect with those participants that tweeted you as well as those who you think would be interested in your product. What you want is to establish a friendly rapport by conversing with them during and after the chat and following them. Then keep tabs of their tweets that might relate to your product or service and now you have leads.
4.) LinkedIn Groups
LinkedIn Groups are great for leads in the same way that Twitter chats are. You can either join a group create your own. If you plan on joining, it is probably better to join only the ones that are truly relevant to your industry topic. Again, you must be involved in the conversations and you must create rapport and provide answers to their big questions.
Once you see those who are really asking about things related to your area, answer their questions briefly and expertly within the group. However, follow them up with a private message with more in depth information. This way, you now have private contact with them. This will establish a feeling of closeness. This will help you talk to those lead one by one in the future and you then be able to suggest your services.
So there you have it. You only need time and effort in most of these techniques. Just remember to avoid selling too soon and too hard. And concentrate on you national anthem rendition.
