Before you purchase your domain names it is important you know what your niche is.  It is good to have your niche keyword in your domain name.  Google likes that.  I was coached by James Roche so many times.  He really pulls the niche out of you!  He is excellent and very, very professional.  I recommend him to all my students especially if they are having some trouble figuring out their business online

Then once you find your niche it is important that you create your website using WordPress.org. Google loves the WordPress platform.  You can get WordPress websites ranked quicker than HTML websites. One of the best teachers on the planet is Christina Hills.  She teaches people how to build their websites using the FREE WordPress software. Go Daddy is foremost the best site to purchase domain names. However, they do a great job of marketing.  Be careful, don’t get caught up in all the sales pitches they do as you are signing off.  Steps I take is:  I select the domain(s), I select the purchase for one year, I don’t buy hosting, private registration, SSL certificates or emails, I then look up “go daddy coupons” in Google and select the best CODE for the additional savings, I select “check out”, enter my code and then buy the domain name sites.  I then call go daddy for my email set.  They walk me through everything.  They also walk me through the website so I can get all the info so I can set up my email account on my desktop and mobile plus my hosting account information for Hostgator.  I do not purchase hosting with godaddy!

I purchase the baby plan through Hostgator.  It allows me multiply websites plus hosting for very little per month.  I buy the year plan for additional savings.  I will be purchasing the upgrade soon as I have been in the internet business for over 3 years now and I have a lot of domain names.  Hostgator is there for you 24/7.  This is really good especially is you are working full time and your are starting an online business part time.  Hostgator is a really good company  with excellent customer service.  You can also use Bluehost.  My mentor uses them and they are great as well.  I recommend Hostgator because I know ,like and trust them.

Every website should have a built in autoresponder.  This is your internet sales funnel.  Just like you would have a client coming into your location offline, this is just as important to you as business for a client coming into your location online.  The optin box for this autoresponder is usually positioned on the top right hand side of a website.  It is to gather the name and email of your client who may be interested in your product or service and in return you give your client a FREE thank you gift ie: a free report, cd, mp3, video, etc.  It is important to acknowledge your client for them sharing with you their name and email and allowing you to continue send them emails in the future.
